the tedium of meditation gives rise to strange forms of subtle entertainment.
like the upper and lower teeth resting together so lightly that each heartbeat creates a tiny “clack.”

it sounds kind of ridiculous, but in a way it might be a practice of deep listening. giving attention to the subtle wonders that would otherwise escape our notice.

update me on your small noticings sometime!
some of my deepest moments of oneness and presence have come thru “listening in 360 degrees” to random sounds outside of me, while simultaneously listening to my breathing. a magical melting of my breath with the rhythms of the outside world can sometimes happen. that drop into a sublime oneness and presence has probly happened for me around 3 times, but I know that those are the keys for me.

mmmm, i love that! melting of breath with outside rhythms seems like an experience of what one might call “anatta” or “no-self” in buddhist parlance, experiencing oneself as part of the landscape instead of separate from it. #DeejayingConsciousness & #Dharma absolutely. <3
