    thank you, friends. as i wrote elsewhere, the day i posted this, i’m feeling very grateful to my mom. thanks to the way she modeled editing, i’m so much less afraid of being wrong, so much less embarrassed to admit mistakes, and so much more open to receiving criticism as teamwork, as opportunity. maia and max, i know you have great gifts in loving criticism, too — thank you for all your examples. and michelle and IzzieJ, thanks so much for stopping by and saying hello! looking forward to getting to know you.
