Last Day In Vermont: Bread and Puppet

Quick post, keepin it movin: today rolled with my hosts — Burlington boys — to the famous Bread and Puppet right in their home theater, in Glover, Vermont. Incredible. And they actually served free bread with (possibly vegan) aioli!

I’ll come back tomorrow and lay out some individual shots; it’s really worth it to see the details.

At first glance I thought the cloud foto was a painting. I’d like to see Bread & Puppet this summer & at their home base…keep hearing it’s an amazing experience.

Hope you make it there, Laura! It’s definitely something. I found myself wishing for more explicit connections and recruiting to organized political formations, but overall I have a lot of respect and gratitude for what they seem to be doing there. (I also hear that they tour — have you ever seen them outside of Glover?)

Btw it was really great being in that workshop with you, and I appreciated your question afterward. Stayed on my mind. I feel lucky to have met you and sampled your fabulousness through Goddard. :)

Roger, have you seen Bread and Puppet before? I’m not surprised at your envy; seems like they’d be right up your alley.
