Prayers for Pakistan

As Maia at The Jizo Chronicles also notes, in US media, the deafening silence around Pakistan’s tragedy continues.

Death and disaster are a part of life, of course, but catastrophes are compounded by structural and personal oppression, and a lack of self-determination.

May all beings be liberated.

Take care, everyone; see you Monday.

The group I organize with in Seattle is planning to host some Palestinian speakers. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I have been involved or witness to four activist dramas this year – nasty painful awful dragged-out online things – I keep thinking about your dharmic (sp?) communication & its role in managing conflict among diverse communities within the activist scene. I’d love to collaborate & will be in touch as time permits.
